Dance
Dance Revolution X includes over 60 new songs as well as songs from previous
titles in the series. The cabinet has been overhauled with a widescreen monitor,
LED lights, and an improved sound system.
The difficulty rating system has also been overhauled, with the Songs rated on a
scale of 1 (easiest) to 20 (hardest). Another change to the series is the
introduction of 'Shock Arrows'. Shock arrows are different to normal arrows and
are differentiated by their white color and lightning effects. Shock Arrows
must be avoided instead of being stepped on, and if you step on the shock arrow,
you lose your combo and part of your life bar. The songs which contain shock
arrows are marked on the song select screen, and they only appear on certain
difficulties.
