Batman
Stern
Stern has released their new pinball, Batman
Pinball. The release of the machine coincides with the new Batman movie,
The Dark Knight, which is released this week.
Batman pinball includes villains from DC Comics Batman universe,
including The Joker and Scarecrow. Features of the pinball include The
Jokers Reveal Mechanism, a mechanical cylinder that rotates to reveal a
taunting Joker; Scarecrows Crane, a mechanical crane featuring a
spring-attach pinball which the player can strike with the pinball; and
the Batmobile Bridge, a see-saw mechanism that races a pinball against a
miniature Batmobile. Batman pinball also features an upper
mini-playfield.

- Plunge the pinball to collect the lit "Skill
Shot" feature.
- Shoot the "Ark" to start "Raiders Multiball".
In Raiders Multiball, collect Jackpots and return to the Ark to complete movie

- Collect "Sankara Stones" to start "Temple of
Doom Multiball"
Hint: keep hitting the lower Captive Balls until it opens, then shoot the ball
into the hole.

Shrek
SternStern are to make a limited run of Shrek-themed
pinball machines.
The game will feature the loveable ogre and the
supporting cast of characters from the movies, but the playfield design will not
be totally new.
In a return to earlier ways, Stern will re-use
the playfield layout designed by Pat Lawlor for Family Guy and re-theme it with
new artwork, sound and dot matrix animations. Artist John Youssi will create the
new artwork for the game just as he did with the Family Guy original

arrangement by including two rollover lane between the flippers like
those found in games such as Wayne Nyens’s Cow Poke and Buckaroo. This
