Stern Batman
Stern has released their new
pinball, Batman Pinball. The release of the machine coincides with the new
Batman movie, The Dark Knight, which is released this week.
Batman pinball includes villains from DC Comics Batman universe, including The
Joker and Scarecrow. Features of the pinball include The Jokers Reveal
Mechanism, a mechanical cylinder that rotates to reveal a taunting Joker;
Scarecrows Crane, a mechanical crane featuring a spring-attach pinball which the
player can strike with the pinball; and the Batmobile Bridge, a see-saw
mechanism that races a pinball against a miniature Batmobile. Batman pinball
also features an upper mini-playfield.
Gary Stern says, "Batman was a great brand for us when we made games in the
1990's. This new Batman game could be the best game we have ever built."
